Cross River State Government has begun the implementation of promotions for all secondary school staff.
This was contained in a letter titled “PROMOTION IMPLEMENTATION” and directed to all principals of secondary schools in the state.
The letter, which was signed by Raphael Bankong Ojie, Board Recorder for Director of Administration/Ag. Chairman, Secondary Education Board on Wednesday, 7th August 2024, said it was a directive from the Head of Service.

The letter reads thus:
“I have directives to request Principals who have not already done so to forward the following particulars of their staff to the Board, as directed by the Head of Service, for implementation of 2023 Promotions.
These include:
> Recent Payslip
> Last Promotion Letter/Current Promotion Letter
2. Please treat as very important
3. Thank you.”
