Hon. Paul Ekpo, member representing Etinan/Nsit Ibom/Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency, has emerged victorious in the APC House of Representatives primary election conducted in Ubium North Ward 3, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

The exercise witnessed a peaceful and orderly process, with party faithful turning out in large numbers to participate in the primary election.

Addressing party members during the event, the political leader of Uyo Senatorial District, Sen. Effiong Bob, lauded the developmental strides of Governor Umo Eno, particularly in Ubium Ward 3 and across the state.

Sen. Bob described Governor Eno’s achievements as outstanding, citing key projects such as the Primary Healthcare Model Centre, which has already been completed and is operational for the benefit of the people, alongside the ongoing construction of the Model Secondary School in the area.

He further revealed that plans were underway for the flag-off of the dualization of the Nung Udoe– Nsit Ubium to East-West Road, noting that the governor has continued to demonstrate commitment to infrastructure development and people-oriented governance.

According to Sen. Bob, Governor Umo Eno has performed exceptionally well in office and deserves the continued support of the people of Akwa Ibom State, assuring that the governor would not disappoint the confidence reposed in him.

Sen. Bob also appreciated the people of Ubium North Ward 3 for maintaining peace throughout the exercise and congratulated Hon. Paul Ekpo on his emergence as winner of the APC House of Representatives primary election.
