UNICAL Law students arrive Port Harcourt for regional law competition

A team of four Law Students with A Staff from the University of Calabar (UNICAL), led by Greatness Eyonsa, 400-Level Student, accompanied by other notable personalities such as; Ignatius Ogabor(400 Level), Glenn Bassey (400 Level), Hannangel Samuel(100 Level) and Dr Paul Ebiala (Law Lecturer) arrived in Port Harcourt on Sunday, 4th August 2024.

They are set to participate in the Regional Law Competition organised by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

The competition, which brings together 16 schools and more from the NDDC region, aims to promote academic excellence and healthy competition among law students.

The University of Calabar team has been preparing rigorously for this event, and their dedication and hard work have earned them the full support of the Students Union Government University of Calabar Chapter (SUG-UCC) Office of the Executive President, Her Excellency Comrade Blessing Alims.

H.E. Comr. Alims words as stated, “We are proud to support our Law Students as they represent our great institution in this regional competition and encourage the public, students, staff/non, management, and the press to send positive words and prayers to our team as they compete. We will keep you updated on their progress and achievements.”

The University of Calabar community wishes the team success and looks forward to a outstanding performance.

The Regional Law Competition is a prestigious event that showcases the academic be prowess of law students in the NDDC region.
