YENAGOA (CONVERSEER) – As part of the Federal government Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Programme L-PRESS Project, the Federal Ministry of Livestock Development has delivered livestock vaccines to Bayelsa State government.

The vaccines are part of the nationwide vaccination exercise against Trans-Boundary Animal Diseases (TADs), aimed at improving breed quality, boosting farmers’ income, and reducing conflict by intensifying efforts to bolster the nation’s animal health system, to enhance productivity, protect livestock, and ensure food security across Nigeria.

This initiative pursued through the implementation of the 2026 nationwide Trans-Boundary Animal Diseases (TADs) vaccination exercise, is a key component of the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRESS) Project.
