The Wisconsin Engineer, Nicolae Miu who stabbed teens in Apple River in Wisconsin has said that he was acting in self-defence.
Miu said the teens “surrounded him like wolves” after they accused him of being a paedophile.
The 54-year-old says he volunteered for a friend to go looking for a lost phone in the water.
Miu said he became fearful as the teens surrounded him and began assaulting him.
“All of a sudden, they were like wolves around me and they were attacking me from all directions and I truly, truly, feared for my life.”
“They came on to me. They hit me, they got on top of me, and I don’t remember anything after that.”

CONVERSEER reports that the teens claimed Miu was taking pictures of little girls.
When asked about it, one of the guys basically admitted he just made it all up.
According to Ian Miles Cheong, the witness, Larrion Davies, who filmed the altercation with Nicolae Miu lied to the crowd and told them he was taking pictures of little girls, which egged them on to attack the man who then defended himself against them.
